Following the name and caring for the permanent incorporation of scientific and technological advances that enhance the quality of medicine, in less than a decade of operation, the hospital emerged with a central priority in cardiac surgery. Over all, involving all specialties, the hospital attends to over a thousand hospitalizations every month, about 18,000 diagnostic tests and approximately 550 surgeries. . According to the Superintendent Corporate of HCOR, Dr. Antonio Carlos Kfouri, he is proud to be part of the history of the institution. "We are the only specialized hospital which is on track to become a general hospital, maintaining the standard in cardiology and having its own ICU to support all other areas," he says.
Aiming to continue to follow the requirements and needs of the delicate health sector, HCOR has expansion plans that include new specialties. With an investment of about US$ 200 million, they are developing two new buildings to meet three specific categories. "In one building, scheduled to open in August of this year, will be running two next-generation hybrid rooms for cardiology and neurosurgery sectors," says Kfouri.
